PART 2 · LESSON 14 OF 30 · 40 MINUTES
He Says to Ask You
On Christmas Day, back in Oaxaca, Sarah and Julian make a video call to her family in Boston, where it's snowing, and Sarah ends up passing messages in every direction. Her family already know about Seville, and Sarah never told them. Pass on questions and requests - he says to ask you whether, tell him that, she wants to know if, my mom told me to - and talk about snow, presents and news that travels fast.

THE STORY
It's Christmas Day. In Oaxaca, it's twenty-five degrees and sunny. In Boston, it's minus five, and snowing. Sarah and Julian sit on her balcony with a laptop. On the screen, her mother, her father in a Mexico football shirt, and her sister Emily, all squeezed onto one sofa, all talking at once. And someone has already told them Julian's news. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
