THE STORY

It's Saturday, February 27th. On Tuesday, Sarah had her interview with Seville by video call, and yesterday the school in Seville said yes. Now it's four in the afternoon, in Elena's kitchen, where Sarah first came for Sunday lunch a year and a half ago. Elena is shelling peas at the table. Sarah sits down opposite her and takes a deep breath. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
