THE STORY
It's January 6th, the Day of the Three Kings, and the first morning back at the clinic after the holidays. Doctor Ruiz walks in with an enormous oval cake, decorated with candied fruit, like a crown. Somewhere inside it, there's a tiny plastic baby. Lupita brings the knife, and Tono makes the hot chocolate. That evening, Sarah climbs the stairs to her neighbour's door, to ask for help. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
