THE STORY
It's Monday, December 24th, 2029, Christmas Eve, ten at night in Seville and three in the afternoon in Oaxaca. Encarna gave her wedding tablecloth to Sarah and Julian last week, and tonight they bring it downstairs to lend it to her table. Julian brings something too, a pot of black mole, months late. There are prawns, lamb, and a tray of Christmas sweets. Emily, Curro, Manolo, Lucia and Pablo are there. Between the bread and the wine, a laptop is open, and on the screen is Elena's kitchen, where nobody has even started dinner. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
