THE STORY

The Kims' flat in Mangwon-dong, Sunday evening, the table laid. Mrs. Park introduces Eli to Grandma, up from Jeonju. Grandma speaks to Eli in the casual speech, as she does with everyone under sixty; Eli is respectful to her, always.
