At the airport

Arrivals at Incheon airport on a Saturday afternoon, Ji-yeong beside Eli, Mr. Kim's taxi outside: there they are and which one is your father, the tall one in the cap, tell her she's welcome, she says you're prettier than in the photo, tell him the taxi's outside, Dad says he carries the bag himself, stubborn like my father, and tell them we're all glad they came.

THE STORY

Arrivals at Incheon airport on a Saturday afternoon, Ji-yeong beside Eli at the barrier, Mr. Kim's taxi waiting outside, Eli's parents speaking English through the crowd. Ji-yeong and Eli speak politely; Mr. Kim speaks casually to Eli, and Eli is respectful to him.
