The small print

The lease at the kitchen table, Su-a reading the small print: read article five, the rent must be paid by the fifth of each month, article seven, in case of late payment the penalty shall be one percent a day, cross that out, the landlord may raise the rent at any time, never sign that, once a year and in writing, and Eli says she should have been a lawyer.

THE STORY
