THE STORY

The living room of the Kims' flat in Mangwon-dong on a Sunday at three, the television off, a box of pears on the low table, Mr. Kim in his armchair. Eli speaks formally, in the speech of solemn moments; Mr. Kim speaks casually to him, as always.
