THE STORY

The long table at the Kims' flat in Mangwon-dong on Chuseok day, the pancakes and the sweet rice drink going round a second time, Eli between Grandma and his mother. Grandma speaks casually to Eli and to Linda; Eli is respectful to Grandma and to Mrs. Park; Mrs. Park speaks politely.
