PART 2 · LESSON 20 OF 30 · 30 MINUTES
A Spring to Remember
It's Easter Sunday in Manolo's bar, and Nerea's parents' last lunch before the train home to Bilbao. Manolo serves his Holy Week French toast with maple syrup at last, and Emily and Curro, who stayed in Seville in March, want the whole spring from the beginning. Own up and tease - last year I didn't dare, that's three this year, shall we try it, don't tell anyone - ask for the news - bring me up to date, we've missed it all, it's been a spring to remember - talk about a new friend - since when have you two known each other, it feels like we've known each other all our lives, in Bilbao you've got a home - and look back over the whole spring, the second part of this level.

THE STORY
It's Easter Sunday, April 21st, 2030, two in the afternoon, in Manolo's bar. Tomorrow, Nerea's parents take the train home to Bilbao, and this is their last lunch in Seville. Since Wednesday, Nerea's mother and Encarna have hardly left each other's side. Manolo brings out a plan he made over a year ago, Holy Week French toast with maple syrup, and Emily and Curro, who stayed in Seville in March, want to hear the whole spring, from the beginning. This is the conversation you'll be able to say by the end of the lesson.
