PART 1 · LESSON 8 OF 30 · 30 MINUTES
It'll Do
Off air, the first month done: Fah's verdict and Tee's, who listened at the pier: Pi Fah, how was it; it'll do; it'll do as in good, or as in not bad; my it'll do means very good; the whole river heard it, brilliant, man; don't praise him too much, good is enough; good, great, top, smashing, then silence; my silence is the highest praise: the ladder of good from plain to slang, and the silence that is praise.
