PART 1 · LESSON 6 OF 30 · 30 MINUTES
Half a Baht of Gold
A gold shop in Yaowarat, the shopkeeper behind the glass: welcome, a ring or a chain? An engagement ring for my fiancee; plain gold, I paint boats; this ring is half a baht, that one a full baht; the small one, my hands are small; and a chain? This chain is two baht, the bride's mother will like it; I'll take both, write the weight down too: the counting words of a gold shop and baht as a weight.
